And you know, I absolutely admire you for being able to talk to him - you really do have true Gryffindor courage there," she reassured Lizzie as best as she could.
"If there's anything I can do for you, let me know," she repeated.
Suddenly, something Lizzie said struck a note. "Speaking of Quidditch Captains, maybe this will cheer you up... the love potion Clark accidentely had sent him running after our Ravvie Captain, Willow Kovac. Boy was that the day she wasn't my favourite person here," Natka said, recounting the amusing story.
Lizzie's eyes were a little glossy but she kept smiling weakly.
Naah I'll be fine. I'm not that mad at him for breaking up with me. He's my friends and well.. she didn't finish the sentence, since she didn't know how to tell Natka how much Chris meant to her while at the same time she wanted to say "I don't care about him anymore". It was all so confusing. She would never have guessed love could be so complicating.
I just feel slightly exchanged, if you know what I mean..? she said as she hugged Natka back.
Raising her eyebrows at Natka's story of the love potion, Lizzie said
Give it up for the quiddich captains in a somehow dry and ironic voice.
Well I suppose you can tell why I'm not exactly cheering to invite the slytherins into our common room. Of course there are some nice ones, but I'm terrified I might bump into Chris and Paris in there.. she said thoughtfully.
So I'm avoiding the room as much as possible.
