Adults... were just unfair.

"It was cool last year," Jake reasoned, remembering when certain staff members looked into that mirror and suddenly started acting like kids. "But... they had to ruin it and make them 'better'," he added, screwing his face up in slight disgust.

Ewww.

BUT, some adults were... kind of okay.

Meaning, they had a few nice qualities.
