Becca blinked and replayed what he said in slow motion in her mind. She didn't choose me after all. So.. she... chose Copernicus?

"WHAT?" She was the one blurting this time. Her mind raced like a dragster. Becca liked Plymouth, then Cela liked Plymouth and got him. Becca moved onto Copernicus, now Cela did too. And worst of all, she crushed one of the most wonderful boys in the world, leaving him a mess on the floor of the corridor. But... she did that to Copernicus too already, didn't she? Rejected him for Plymouth?
"Would you rather me stay with you and give you hugs, or go hunt her down and teach her a lesson?" She moved to get up. Becca had ALWAYS been envious of Cela. She got all the charming guys. But when she goes and crushes both of them? What was up with that?
