Jake felt as though he would never work out why Lawson was being soooooo... nice to him right now, considering the way Jake had been with him, and plenty of others, before now. Strange.
Giving the man a nod, and not saying another word, Jake seeked out (he was quite good at that xD) a niiiice little booth/table thing and went over to sit down. Thankfully his underwear was much more comfortable to wear, now. He'd managed to sort himself out discreetly (hopefully) after the ordeal with the ceiling.
After paying for the drinks, Marcus picked up the bottles and headed over to the table that Jake had chosen. He placed the bottles on the table but he didn't sit. "Just excuse me for a moment Jake. There's er...something I need to do. I'll be back in just a moment."
He knew that he was being evasive and it would probably make Jake, suspicious and on edge but hopefully his little plan worked and it will make the kid a little happier than he had been lately. Although he was a little uneasy about putting this into the hands of someone he didn't know, he just had to trust that this would work. He quickly turned on his heel and headed away from the table and out the back.
