Chris gave paris a sad look. he knew they were together, but now she had to break the heart of this boy who thought they were dating. He just stayed out of it. He didnt want to make the other boy feel any worse. So he just took a drink of his coffee.
She was thankful that Chris was staying out of it and not trying to bully Theodore and act all macho and jealous.

He had taken everything she said in the wrong way.
"I kissed you on the cheek Theo." she tried to explain.
"You even made a face when I did that like I had cooties or something." This was getting out of hand.
"But you didn't say anything about wanting to be my boyfriend. I mean I really liked Copernicus but I don't want to date him." And since she had been with Chris she was liking Cope less and less in fact.
Tears welled in her eyes at his statement. She had no idea he had such strong feelings for her. Or that he was even capable of those feelings. She didn't like his accusations either. She was going to have to have a word with Theo's sister she was liking that girl less and less.
"How was I supposed to know all these things Theo. You never said any of them to me and I suck at Divination." She told him as she wiped at the tears on her face harshly.
She was tired of being made to be the bad guy in every situation just because it was convenient to blame her because she was feisty and had attitude.
