She had been taking a drink of her chocolate milk when Theo announced that she was his girlfriend. She sputtered into her milk and set it down as she reached for a napkin to dry her face off.
"Your girlfriend?" she asked him. When did that happen. They had just had a lovely time together.

"Yes, me and Chris are dating Theo." She reassured Chris. How on earth did this happen? She knew Theo liked her but she didn't think that he wanted to be her boyfriend.
