Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad The small first year wandered down a randomly chosen corridor, having gone down each of the others on this particular floor already. Her decision to take a walk, however, was not just for the sake of wandering about the castle. There was a reason, Katie always had her reasons. And this one? Well it indirectly involved a certain first year Gryffindor boy, of whom she was STILL not speaking to, thank you very much. Katie was not avoiding him, she simply refused to acknowledge his annoying existance. Hogwarts was a large school, outside of classes it wasn't hard to put a good distance between herself and him. But now, she had bigger problems than an obnoxious Chosen lion.
How did her issue, whatever it may be, somehow include Legend? Easy, he was the one that gave her Waterfall. If he hadn't she wouldn't be looking for the darned bright blue, black spotted frog! If he hadn't, he wouldn't notice when she no longer had the frog, too. That was a bridge she was so NOT crossing, not now and not later. Gotta find that frog Katie thought, hugging the tan itty bitty rabbit she held gently.
Kaitlynnh never left the Badger Den without her school bag, which she commonly stored Waterfall in her little travel carrier that fit perfectly inside, with Nova being carried. Now since the flooding of the Hufflepuff Common Room, she had yet to leave either of her pets; they came wherever she went, to avoid losing one of them. Obviously, that was a fail. Stupid frog.. stupid Legend's idea the ranting continued in her mind, her feet led the way silently down the corridor until she noticed an all too familar figure sitting against the wall, paying her no attention.
A small, sly smile formed on her fruity pink lips. Katie shifted her baby rabbit to one side, for it's own safety as not to jostle it, and tiptoed her way towards Sammy until she was sure the seventh year would notice and foil her plan. Rather than letting that happen, the little first year shouted, "Hey Sammy!" in hopes of startling her older cousin. As innocently as she could, Katie practically bounced the last few steps over and looked down at the blank piece of parchment. Her head tilted to the side, a look of curiousity on the eleven-year-old's face. "Whatcha doin?"
