Wesley had been cowering, her eyes closed and counting backwards from ten (apparently it is supposed to make you feel more calm) under her breath, but, at exactly number 5, was interrupted by a subtle "Um..." Opening her eyes, she looked around for the source of the sound.

Was it the older boy or... Wait! Was that...Rhea! "Rhea!" Wesley exclaimed happily at the same time the older girl said her own name.

Wait! Had Rhea heard her scream? Wesley turned bright red, self-conscious and embarrassed of her own timidness. Nodding shyly as Rhea introduced her to the older boy, Irial Darkk, Wesley couldn't help but think his last name was frightening. The tiny Hufflpuff was still scared of the dark. But then again, her name was a boy's name, so it wasn't a big deal. "Hello. Pleased to meet you," she said shyly, holding her short skinny arm out formally, just like Mother had taught her. The older boy was intimidating, but he was Rhea's friend, or at least Wesley thought he was, so she was determined to like him. Because any friend of Rhea's HAD to be nice.
