Wesley scurried down the hall. She had boatloads of homework to do. Arithmancy had been really confusing, and she had a feeling it was going to take her forever to finish.

She had thought about doing it in the library, but there where so many people in there that she had chickened out. So now she was going to the Ravenclaw Common Room. Correction: her common room. Wesley didn't know if this was such a good idea either. She didn't know any Ravenclaws. But she had to get her homework done- Hufflepuffs where dragging behind everyone else in House Points. And she owed it to everyone- Vanessa, Jake, Dominic, Melanie, Rhea- Wesley smiled at the last name, remembering her new friend, Sarah, and her head of house-to do her best.

She was so focused on getting to the common room and not getting lost along the way (because it was practically 8 floors from the old common room), that she wasn't exactly looking where she was going.

So when she saw the bright sparks, she screamed. "WAHHHHH!!"
