Marcus gave Caroline a skeptical look. "Please Avalon, I wasn't born yesterday you know." He placed his arms onto his head as he waited for her to finish applying the bandages.

"Right how's this? You finish up mending my injuries and what not. I will behave myself and do as I am told and then you can go about your business and I can go about mine." As much as he could carry on with this all day, he had things to do and he did not want to be spending time arguing with Caroline.
