Once he was at the board, the young Gryffindor began to work with enthusiasm, hoping he would make no mistakes in his calculations. Not that he was generally apt to - he just tended to make them when he in the limelight, or nervous. Right now, though, he had the advantage of not being the only "volunteer," so all was good. YAY!
An eight? Fyo's mind wandered to the pages of the textbook.
Hey, that was a niiice description! "Born to be a leader," he mused, not realizing that he had just said that out loud. Professor Shackleton inspected each of the students' calculations and was proud to find that they had all done it correctly. "You've all determined that my Destiny Number is eight. And as Fyo just aptly summarized, I'm destined to be a leader according to my number. But we're not going to discuss the applicability of that description to my destiny just yet... because it will be part of your homework! Which I am now putting on the board."
Macadrian's wand swished threw the air and the homework appeared in chalk on the blackboard: Quote:

2. Creatively describe other ways Professor Shackleton might fulfill her destiny according to her Destiny Number. (2 points)
3. Calculate your own Destiny Number. Refer to the textbook for that number's meaning. (2 points)
4. How do you feel about that destiny? Do you think it seems applicable? How so? Feasible/achievable? How might you go about fulfilling that destiny? (4 points)
"Class dismissed. And please pick up a peppermint toad on your way out. Two if you did the calculation for my Destiny Number on the board."
