Elizabeth smiled again at the odd compliment about her name. Especially since, considering the names of half the other girls at Hogwarts, she always had thought hers was rather ordinary. And kind of boring, if she really wanted to think about it. But at Torin's next comment, she raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Thank you, I guess," she said awkwardly. Not something she exactly expected, and when she considered the fact she had known both Nicholai and Maddox, it was odd she was surprised. But then, she hadn't exactly been in the same position when she knew them as she was in now.

But then he went on to ask about her house, and she relaxed a bit. "I'm in Ravenclaw," she responded. As long as they stayed on inane topics like that, she shouldn't have to worry. About anyone getting hurt or anything. Or needing to extract herself before he did anything he might regret.
