Kate listened intently as Kris told her about Germany. It sounded interesting.

"Darker? In what way?" she asked, making sure she fully understood what he meant. She smiled as she spoke, not wanting to seem rude to the newcomers.

If they were going to be extra flirtatious upon just meeting the man and they were only in the break room, Donovan did not want to think how they would behave under the effects of the Locked Room - it was almost like breathing in a low-dose love potion all day. Or maybe they were just still feeling the effects from being in the room for a long period without a break.

His eyes flickered back from the workers to his paper until he sat up with a start as he was startled by the sound of a slamming door. Donovan looked around curiously but noticed that it had not been one of his employees who had slammed the door - which was a good thing for he did not tolerate such unprofessional behavior in the workplace, even if it was the breakroom. But who it was he was unsure since he hadn't noticed anyone else enter the room having been a little too absorbed in the news. But now back to his employees.

Ahem.

"Edilson, why don't we go over a few things about the Locked Room before we go back?" Donovan said to the man sitting not too far away and gestured him over to his table. If they had any hope of getting much more work done they'd have to head back soon.

Kate looked up as she was speaking to Kris, Donovan was looking at her over his paper. She looked at him intently, wondering what he was thinking.
