Rachel squirmed slightly in the silence that enveloped the room as her Professor read over her file. She found herself fidgeting nervously with her hands and wished fervently that she had decided to keep a hold of the pamphlets for the colleges. They would have given her something to do - and now she was forced to wait in the silence for Professor Vindictus to speak.
"Charms and Transfiguration?" she repeated, slightly surprised.
Those two subjects? Nodding to show she understood, she smiled back and decided to call it a night - she had much to read about anyway and she didn't want to take up any more of his time anyway.
"Thank you Professor - really, thank you," she said as she got up and slung her bag over her shoulder, speaking in a really grateful tone. Turning towards the door, she swiveled to give him one last thanking look before exiting the room and making straight for the castle... Now was the time to do some serious mulling.
