"Aye captain," Jonathan nodded. It was about time they spotted land. Right now he was concerned about finding food, perhaps they had bananas or coconuts or something out there. He quickly wiped that thought out of his mind, at least for the moment. There were more important things to consider right now than feeding his stomach, much as that needed to be done. Their first concern was keeping themselves safe from anyone or anything that might be out there ahead of them. As he pulled the ship to starboard, he began inspecting for any sign of life, after ensuring that the cannons were properly fortified. |
