Reinstated Secret Agent >.>
He knew it was just show, that at some point in time he would have to back off and let Emiliano step back in. That was the agreement at least. He wasn’t really involved with Piper. He was just filling in, doing a good deed … sort of … but it felt right. It felt good. When he had her tucked under his arm it was as if a missing piece of himself was slipped into place. It felt good not to be so alone. When Piper perched herself drowsily on the windowsill, Wes forced his fists into the pockets of his slacks. “Yeah well … I’m a good actor apparently.” He muttered more under his breath than anything. It felt more like he was reminding himself that it wasn’t real than her. He didn’t want to be pushy, or make this situation any more complicated … Where did that come from? Of course you want to make it worse! A stronger part of his mind reminded him. He loved drama, and he loved getting involved. What did it matter if he stepped on Emiliano a bit? Piper was an amazing girl. Why shouldn’t he try to woo her a bit? He deserved to be happy too. Maybe she would be happy with him! She could get over Emiliano. She said it herself! He can’t make up his mind! Another voice pointed out wickedly. “What?” Wes demanded in disgust. He glared down at her. “Don’t get all self deprecating on me. You are amazing. Any guy should be lucky to have you, and don’t you forget it. Stop comparing yourself to other girls. You can’t do it fairly. You are different people, and no one will ever measure up to someone else. We aren’t supposed to anyway. Everyone should be different.” Sure, Evolette and Karma were stunning. Both of them. He adored Evolotte, but she was nothing like Piper. His feelings for both were infinitely different. Evolotte was stunning, but so was Piper. It was just different. It should be different. "Do you want to go see the nurse? Maybe she can do something about your head." Wes suggested, trying to keep the concerned note from his voice.
