She looked back down and started fiddlng with her robe sleeve, before suddenly remembering something.... "What about you? You had those newspapers from the library didn't you?!"
Ryder just nodded, "I did," he said, "but I hope that the library has more, but luckily they were only covering a month or so." He knew that that wouldn't really make much sense to her. But he needed to tell her soon. It was begining to feel very odd, sitting here, especially like this, when she really didn't know much about him. He felt like he was holding something back, and he had to tell her before it drove him nuts. They should be waiting for a teacher, but now that he was thinking about it, he really wanted to tell her now. He wasn't sure on how she would react but he had to do it all the same.

Having warmed up,Sarah unwrapped the blanket from around her and folded it,before placing it on the table in front of her.She reached forward and grabbed a goblet, filling it up with what was left of the pumpkin juice in the jug.Taking a gulp,it was only as the liquid touched her lips that she realised how thirsty she actually was.Draining what was left was tempting, but as the kitchen level was now flooded it was unlikely that they could get more,so instead she nursed the goblet and drank as slowly as possible.Glancing sideways she saw Ryder still sat there....and people still milling around. When are we going to get help?
Ryder wasn't paying all that much attention to what was going on around him. He kept finding himself looking down at Sarah. He may be cold, but he was happy to just sit like this. His mind though kept wandering back to what he was keeping from her and so, he pulled back from her a little and asked, "Would you like to get out of here for a little while? I'd really like to talk to you." He hoped she said yes, it really wasn't something he wanted to talk about in front of everyone.
