Gulping down the last two swallows of butterbeer quickly, he then rose from his seat. Glancing down at Vanessa, he smiled appreciatively at his co-prefect before doing something he never thought he would do; the sixteen year old bent his knees just enough to allow himself to reach and give Vanessa a quick hug and then take hold of her shoulders - looking into her eyes - "Thank you. For everything, Vanessa." And then, he gave her two kisses, one on each cheek, before turning from the pub.

Because he had a letter to write.

Vanessa fiddled with her hair as she watched Dominic, waiting for him to reply. If he was going to reply of course. What she had said did seem like a good idea, and it could work, if Willow didn't chuck the letter away of course.
"See." Vanessa nodded with a smile as he spoke. He may as well have a try at it anyway, how did he know that it wouldn't work if he didn't try.

Vanessa was a little alarmed as he got up, was he leaving already? Well he did have a letter to write, but still it was pretty soon. Smiling at him once more, she pulled her book closer, before she felt herself be pulled into a hug. Wait. Was Dominic Denton Hugging her? Whaat. She looked up at him, a little confused but hugged him back none the less, having to be polite and all. She had to admit though it was very nice.
But it was what came next that shocked her. Instead of letting go like any normal person, he held onto her shoulders...and kissed her cheeks? Okaayy that was slightly odd...and slighty nice. "Errm....It's not problem Dominic." She spoke quietly, as she just stared at him. Him, Dominic Denton had just kissed her cheeks. Whaat. She had to admit that his lips were rather soft though. Cocking her head to the side she watched him walk off. Willow was a very lucky girl.
