Wes heard her before he saw her. That tell-tale click click click as her heels collided with the floor announced her presence. He didn't bother to look up. Wes already knew it was Evee. There was just something about the way she walked, the way she carried herself. He knew all to well that it was her. There was an air of confidence, almost a strength in the way she walked. She didn't miss a beat, didn't hesitate or stumble.

He only bothered to look up once she sat down across from him. Evolette McKenna was one of the few people at Hogwarts that he actually considered a friend. She was quite a flirt ... but they worked together well enough. He didn't expect anything to come of their friendship but ... friendship. He didn't want it to change. Yeah, she was stunning, but the two of them would never last as more. He liked their rhythm. It was comfortable.

"Yes I was, as a matter of fact!" He began in a firm tone. "But if you are going to guilt trip me you need to work on the pout dearest." Wes concluded with a shrug of his broad shoulders. "It would be better if you got a quiver going in your lip too. You have the eyes down, but the lip needs some work." He grinned at her. He hadn't really been avoiding her ... but it would be fun to see what she made of his comment. Evee was one of few people that Wes would actually have some fun with.
