He tried not to, really, but he couldn't help himself. He leaned over the chair and ran the back of his hand along her cheek. "She'll be okay, Professor Kazimeriz. Just you wait and see. CellBell is brilliant and funny and this whole thing is probably just another experiment or something." Plymouth pulled his hand back and rested his chin on the top of the chair. He was trying to stay close, not get kicked out, but be out of the way all at the same time. |
