Marcus spotted the little elf floating on a tray and if the situation wasn't so serious he may have chuckled at the sight. Problem was the elf was floating away in the opposite direction and he would of made a dive for the elf but he was already carrying two. With great difficulty he released his wand from it's wrist holster and gave it a swish and a flick towards Beezley and levitated the elf and tray towards him. "Just hold on tight Beezley" he ordered gently as he back towards the door. Argyle on his head, Tinka in his arms and Beezly levitating just above the water.
Beezley continued to float down the water that had quickly taken over the bottom portion of the castle. Thoughts of the poor studentsies and her masters and mistresses formed in the little elf's head. Were they okay? Was there anything more Beezley could have done to help. Beezley climbed aboard the tray and lay flat on her stomach, preparing herself to be forgotten and left behind. When she finally peeled her eyes open, she spotted a soggy, nasty cookie making its way downstream. Beezley lifted her hand and gave the treat a nice little salute before passing it by completely. "
Goodbye, kitchenses," she sobbed. "Goodbye, chocolate chip cookies..."
Then Beezley heard the voice again---had master come back for her?!?! Hearing the orders to hold on tight, Beezley wrapped her skin-and-bones arms around the tray and held on as tightly as she could. A few seconds later, Beezley and the tray went soaring into the air, and Beezley realized she was being rescued! Master had come for her! Beezley would not go down! "Farewell, kitchenses! I'll never forget you!" she called out, giving her home a final salute before flying, magic-carpet...er, magic-tray style, towards the door.
