Jane looked at him and smiled. She appreciated the little space between them. She needed to cool off before she did something incredibly nuts like running off. She was glad she didn't. She trusted him, with her life.

"I do,"she said, softly and gently as if that Jane, the one that was staring at him with cold eyes had disappeared.
