The Department of Mysteries is definitely one place that Lorraine did not venture often. Which was quite unusual, since the brunette had few fears being a former Slytherin, but for some reason, being down here on Level Nine in the dark, made her hairs stand on edge. Perhaps this was why she usually just resided to sending Elijah a memo when she needed him. For one, she wasn't even sure she was allowed to know what went on here. But now that Elijah was no longer Department Head, she had promised Reagan that she would take care of informing the employees of Magical Games & Sports and Mysteries of this change in leadership.

Biting her lip as she approached the office of Elijah Wright, she sighed, trying desperately to control her breaths. Casually - as possible anyway with her hand slightly shaking - Lorraine flicked her wand as the second parchment she had made out just an hour prior to coming down here affixed itself to the door of Elijah Wright's office:

Unfortunately an emergency has occurred where Mr Wright has needed to step down as Department Head. A new Head is being sought, but in the meantime, please feel free to resort to Vivienne Beauvais, Donovan Calrissian, Aidon Elric, Hunter Grey, Irene Ryans, or Daniel Henry Smith with questions regarding the Department of Mysteries, and myself, with any other questions.

My office is located on Level Six, for your convenience.

Rereading the letter, Lorraine realized that she dearly hoped the division heads - whose names required extensive research to discover - would be able to handle any questions on their own without requiring Department Head intervention. Because having to venture down here again, she wasn't entirely sure her nerves could handle it.

Speaking of nerves . . . She should head back to level six. So with one final flick of her wand, the department head door clicked to a lock, as the brunette made her way back towards the lifts.
