A little flushed over Shackleton’s words (it wasn’t everyday someone told you you made your House proud, after all!), Evangeline caught the Jelly Slug the Professor had threw at her and put it on her pocket. She’d eat it laaaater! Now, it was time to work.

After all, if Slytherin was on the lead points-wise in this class, it ought to remain so. The only problem was her biiiiig name, but work never stopped her before and it wouldn’t now.

Hah! Talk about a big name! Evangeline sometimes dreaded Arithmancy class for fear she'd have to calculate the meaning of all her names, like this class. It was just sooo much. And she could've sworn that all she saw in her names was E's. Eh. Anyway, time to go to the textbook. Pulling the book closer to herself, Evangeline leant in and read what her destiny number said about her.

Oh, but back to the numbers!

OOOOOOOH! That made sense! Being a Prefect and all, Evangeline needed to encourage others! And the numbers were at her favour, it seemed. Yay!
