Mariska watched as Elizabeth took a drink of her butterbeer, waiting for her friend to say something. It turned out she was going to wait for a little bit, she realized and when Elizabeth finally spoke. " Good," Mari said, not sure what else she should say to that, if she were honest.

Then Elizabeth was smiling at her and Mari only giggled more at Elizabeth's words. " Oh my, Mr. Masterson would be devastated for sure. And what would I do without you? Go mad, that's what." She said, nodding her head and managing a serious expression for only a few seconds if that and then she was off again, giggling like she hadn't laughed properly in a long time. Which was sort of true; things had been serious for far too long for Mari.
