"Aren't the rest of you...going to cross?" She stared at the few Hufflepuffs congratulating Torin and then looked back to the pond. "Nice work, Mr. Parker," Bunbunz called out loudly as if that would motivate more Slytherins to help. She noticed the amusing exchange between the boy and the Hufflepuffs and figured that he was Vannie's man...who went shopping with her...in Italy.
Speaking of shopping, Bunbury looked down and noticed that, oddly enough, the shoes were missing? Hadn't there been a pile of student shoes right there? Good thing she had kept hers on then, mmhmm since a shoe thief was about. Bunbunz wasn't concerned though (since they weren't her shoes) and started to make her way back to her pink bench.
ooc: Everyone should be on the lily pads, trying to cross! You don't have to go one at a time, you know, so even if your blindfolded person is across YOU still hafta go and you might get blindfolded next, so...dundudunnnnn.
Melanie looked away from the pond as Bunbury asked if they were going to cross to stare, a look of horror on her face. She was scared of water...surely she didn't have to-to go out there...
Gulp.
She didn't want Bunbury to be angry with her for asking, the teacher scare her a bit when she was angry, but she couldn't help it.
"Professor." she began, raising her hand for good measure.
"Could I please...just- just help everyone else? ...I don't like water." she pleaded, looking hopefully over at her professor.
"It scares me..." Melanie admitted, blushing. She didn't like to admit her fears. In fact she downright hated it.
But Bunbury looked....rather busy. Varius and another girl were fighting over some... shoes? Or at least that's what it looked like. And Varius was reading some paper. Hmmm whatever, she just was waiting on Bunbury to give her an answer...hopefully 'Yes'.
