Antonio listened carefully to Reid as his worst fears were confirmed. Not only were Sakura and Ruby involved but worse, Death Eaters as well. It was almost as if he knew what Reid was going to say before he said it. He didn't want his family involved and yet, he knew that they would want to be, especially Bethany. In fact, as he thought of it, there was even a chance she might be able to help with this. He knew that by hearing what Reid had said, that he was already involved.
"I see," Antonio said. "Well, clearly we have to do something to prevent that from happening. We have to protect Sakura, Ruby and Narcissa, as well as yourself. Because if I know anything, they are going to be after you, too, as well as everyone you have confided this news in." Including myself, he thought. He knew he was already in too deep and there was no going back.
"I'm sorry for bringing this to you but you would have been involved either way. Mei Lin knows who you are and she knows where the Moisers live, where the Weasley's live as well. It wouldn't take her long to find you, it's what she's good at. Finding people that is. She used to do it all the time for her parents, except normally it happened when business deals went sour." he smiled slightly, it was in a way bitter sweet. "I met the family years ago, I helped them get Sakura back. I helped them to get her to believe that there way was the right way. It was easy because we were in hospital together. She calls me her older brother and I suppose it's that that made me decide not to help Mei Lin this time. Sakura I think has some idea of what is happening, or she doesn't remember enough to know that she did trust Mei Lin. In her last letter she asked me to protect Ruby. She has never trusted Edward." Reid shook his head slightly. "I can look after myself and Ruby and I've only told you about this. The person I'm worried about is Sakura. She's so innocent in a way and at this stage broken. She's suffered from depression as well as other disorders since she was little, that on top of what happened during last year..." he trailed off. "You see where I'm going right? I'm just sorry I got you involved, especially your family, Sakura told me about Antonia and I'm sorry such a young girl will have to go through so much. I just didn't know who else to turn to."
