That was something she could sympathise with, leaving behind somebody who didn't understand. Her thoughts drifted to her cousin, whom she'd loved dearly and had to leave permanently. 'Does she understand better now, even if you can't tell her?' she asked softly. 'I imagine that she'll understand it's something important that she can't know of.' All this secrecy; it hurt Mina to have to keep secrets from her family more than anyone else.

The smirk was answer enough; the glint in her eyes added to it. It sounded like a lot of fun. 'Girl, you just got yourself a pocket-size spy signed up,' she drawled.

Ugh. Why was she embarrassed? How about: he was the only one who could make her put real emotion in everything? How about: he was the first person who she hadn't broken bones of when they'd touched her? Ugh. It was too embarrassing as she repeated those things to Julie. 'He just ... he seems to know things he shouldn't, and I tell him too much,' she concluded. 'He even knows my one and only wish.' She sighed. 'But is it really okay to like someone who's oblivious to your feelings and has a girlfriend? At least, he did, last time we talked.' Again, she muttered something in her home language, needing to get it off her chest but not wanting anyone to understand it. Lord help her if anybody had actually learnt what it meant.

Mina pretended to cower in fright. 'No, no! Don't be mean!' she cried out with sarcasm. 'There isn't much interesting about me! Honestly. There's not much to say, so what do you want to know?'

Julie guffawed, Fine. You sit there thinking it's nice and felling sorry for those boys while I sit here and hate the name and remenincse over those same boys. She was joking, she hadn't really hurt them...much. Maybe a bloody nose here and there and once a broken arm but that was it.

Julie sat up, I guess we all wish for things we can't have. I wish to be smaller so not everyone gwaks at me and you wish to be taller so you could be noticed some more. Then a thought hit Julie, Maybe we can balance each others hieght out. People will notice you when we are together. Well actually I might look taller but whatever. You will be noticed. Is that what you want? She looked at Mina for her answer. Then she thought back to what Mina said, What do you mean 'You imagine I stand out somewhat'?

Taking a deep breath, she had gotten herself excited, she said, I can't see the cold side. Yet. But don't be scared to hide. I defenitly have a bad side. I will not lie about that. Example, Jess even stole something that I couldn't buy so I could give it to a friend. Immetiatly afterwards I kissed him. Granted it was on the cheek but that was Julie's little secret.

Julie laid back down, No, she still doesn't understand but she accepts it. And I love her all the more for it. We're still pretty close. Just not like we were when I was home every day. She turned her head away to hide her tears. She turned back when she got control.

Julie thought of her prediciment, What was it you said to me? 'Go all out and make him notice you?' Well that's what you said more or less. She shrugged, Now that's all you have to do. Make him notice you. She ignored the mutter in the other language.

She did a mock growl and laughed, I want to know what the heck you keep sayin'. She shook out her long blonde hair and pieces of grass fell out.
