As he didn't really feel compulsed to do the same, he instead fixed his gaze back on the blond Professor at the front, who was still fiddling with a . . . ring!? What?! Professor Shackleton was MARRIED!?!
Reflexively, the sixth year looked back over at Celandine. "Uh... Did you know the Professor was married?!" He whispered, voice mixed with anxiety and concern. Of course, Dominic didn't realize it could simply have been an engagement ring, but that was a boy for you.
Celandine looked up at Dom-in-ick in surprise. "I kind of always thought she
was married. To our old Runes professor?" head tilt. "Did I make that up in my head?" She grinned at him and tossed her hair a little. "Makes sense though, on account of Professor Shackleton is both smart AND pretty. It would be cool to be like her one day."
Plus Shackleton still liked candy, which was of paramount importance.
Celandine crossed her legs towards Dom-in-ick and bounced her foot a little while she waited for class to start, poking her tongue out at the Hufflepuff prefect and lazily turning the page in her textbook.
