She didn't want to see him there but they have to return them. "Guess we should go?" she asked him.
"It could be fun to do it sometime. Flying is a lot of fun and it's safer than you'd think." he replied letting the matter drop for now. Taking it that she'd agreed to do it at some point as a good thing. "Magical Creatures, all creatures really, normally understand a heap more than we ever give them credit for. Sometimes I think they can be smarter than humans." he confided in her. Seeing how sad she was at the fact that she would have to leave Cid he raised his hand slightly, wondering if he should even try to comfort her. It may seem weird if he did... Shaking his head he went with his initial plan and laid a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I know it's sad to have to leave Cid here but you can come back and visit and I'm sure he'll be happy here." he told Via, not knowing if he was saying the right thing or not.
He nodded silently to her last question and gestured for her to walk before him.
