Robert spun back around as he heard Caydens response to Lyra. "You bloody hypocrite!" He closed his hand tightly around Lyra's to stop himself from going at Cayden. His temper was rising and he could tell, "She came to me in the green house so don't start feeling like the more noble one here."
He clenched his jaw and his voice dropped down to a whisper, "You were the one who was hitting on her in the first place. If there's any karma it will be when she leaves you for someone else." He looked at Mari in disgust, "Which will happen. My father was right about one thing it seems. You can give that locket I gave you to Liz since it obviously meant nothing." And if anything had cut him deeper it was that fact. He had stood up for her and she had turned out exactly how he said she would. His voice going back to normal as his temper eased he turned back around and headed down the corridor. "Good ridance," he said as he walked though deep down that's not what he was feeling at all. He needed some place, any place else.
Cayden snickered at Lyra as she talked about how it was boring. It would take a boring person to know something of that sort. It was then that Robert decided to talk back to what he had said. About time he had stopped being a baby. He had been waiting for some discussion between them ever since he had decided from the beginning to be a Jerk.
His smile left his face as he talked about how he was a hypocrite for flirting with her. At the time they werent together and he never made a move on her while they were together. THEN to insult mari. He almost let a growl escape him when he caught himself. He had just gone over the line with his comments. Then bringing up elizabeth in a comment that irritated him even more. How long had he told Mari that Liz would never pick her over him because she had always proven his point with her own actions.
Cayden moved from Mari's side as he grabbed robert by the back of his collar and spun him around. It didnt take anything to do so, even if he was taller then he was. He took his shirt as he pushed him up against the wall and spoke to him." Listen good because your very lucky." Lucky that they were in school otherwise he wouldnt be in even more trouble.

ever insult her in front of me again...so help me." He told him as he clinched his jaw. He wanted to hurt him so bad...and it would be so easy. Cayden knew Mari wasnt going anywhere. After everything they had been through with Charlotte and Marc. They both werent going anywhere, but with each other. They both knew this.
