He was starting to get irritated and simply because no one seemed to be having a good explanation. "What does he mean he's taking the headmasters position?" Geez the joke had been good but now its just scary. He even found himself questioning his own sanity just a bit. This was getting weirder and weirder.
Lyra was on the same page as Rob as she couldn't believe their luck. It seemed as though their little joke turned out to be somewhat real. She leaned into him and whispered back. "I believe it means that...we are partially right about what we just joked about." She leaned back as her eyes stared forward as she couldn't believe it.
The old man was taking over Hogwarts!

"Well, I suppose that's my call to leave, then," she said, addressing a few of the nearby students. She dropped her wet robes, shoes, and socks on the ground, remembering a message that a professor would be by to collect them soon. "Lyra, dear, would you make sure the professor who comes along gets these, please?"
Seeing the healer make her leave, Anna shot a 'thank you, I knew you'd come through for me' look to Lyra, then turned to make her own leave, as well. Hopefully there wouldn't be too many ill or injured people in the Hospital Wing. Anna hated to think about her schoolmates not feeling well. "Goodbye now," she called out over her shoulder, waving to the Hufflepuffs behind her.
Lyra jumped from her running imagination when she heard Banana lay wet clothing next to her. She moved her leg so the bad, nasty water and wet clothes touched her. Kaziman seemed to make it out like the water was bad, no one needed to touch it which made it worse that she was in that water.
"You don't have to do anything, Rob," she said shaking her head. "If you weren't in the water, you don't have to remove your clothing. I've already taken a bath, received my potion and now here I sit, listening to that old man ruining my life." Like she needed to say that out loud.
