She nodded and listened to Emiliano, who was telling her to dance like she does at parties. "Here goes nothing," she said. "Twirl me when you think it's time." She made sure there weren't any desks near before they started dancing.
Side, side, rock step... She kept her feet going with the music, but she did mess up every now and then. Which made them have to start over. At least, she was getting better, right? The Jitterbug wasn't as hard as she thought it was. It was actually pretty easy once you get it going.
Step...step...step...rock step..."Twirl!" Emiliano whispered, though it may have been heard around the room clear enough. And there was the little twirl that just couldn't work well when he practiced his dance moves with his family. But it worked with Reese! Yay!
"Could you believe this was the first time this twirl works for me?" He confessed, letting out a chuckle and dancing along. Another dance moves to add, maybe...but later shall he get the chance. "Now let's try this..." He said, showing Reese a left back step...right back step...left...right, then twirl again.
"You are good at this...I think we must have lived one of our many lives in the 60īs..." He joked, though he almost felt like such, a teenager at such times.
