"Thank you, Plym," Anna said, grateful he had decided to play along and cut a rug with her. She didn't doubt he would, though. Plym had always been a gentleman, and it was in his nature to agree to volunteer with her. She put her arms on his shoulders, then whispered, "Yeah, yeah. Whatever the Head Girl needs," she said, with a laugh. She shook her head and continued to laugh softly as he instructed the class to watch and learn.

"Alright, so the man starts on his left foot, whereas the woman starts on her right," she said, glancing up at him and fighting the urge to giggle. She shot Lyra a smile while she was at it, grateful to have the support of her best friend, too. "Then, you'll step to the side, like so *drags Plym to the side*, then to the opposite side *drags Plym back again*. Afterwards you'll sort of rock back on your feet, to where you're pretty much going 'side, side, rock step...side, side, rock step'."

"After a few of those, the man will turn the woman around...turn me, Plym," she said, whispering that last part. "Then the motions start all over again. 'side, side, rock step...side, side, rock step'." There now. This wasn't so bad. It might even be a little bit of fun, too. As the two danced, Anna's urge to jinx poor Plymouth to the moon and back slowly diminshed.
