The office was growing busy already. Antonio answered the door and found another girl he didn't recognize, but she apparently wanted to know when the first muggle studies lesson would be. "Hi," he said. "I will post the first lesson up soon. It will probably start some time next week. Come in if you like." THere were always a lot of people around his office, one more wouldn't hurt.



Antonio saw the young girl he had met earlier, Sarah, standing outside. "Hi, Sarah, come on in," he said. He could tell that there was something she wanted to talk to him about.



"Hi, Gabriella, nice to meet you," Antonio said. "Well, let me take a look at that and I'll see what I can do." Antonio could tell that the object, a calendar, was very important to Gabriella. "Reparo," he said, drawing his wand over the object. The crack began to disappear. "There, that ought to do it," he said. It was hard to tell that the object had ever been damaged.



"Come on in, Daniel," Antonio invited. He remembered that Daniel had expressed interest in speaking to him earlier, at the opening feast.



Another familiar face from last summer, Barry, was outside the door. It was probably best this way, best for all concerned that Antonio face what had happened. It was best for all of them. "Come on in, Barry," he said.



"Katie, that's a very nice name," Antonio said. "And yes, the name is Italian. My family is one quarter Italian, one quarter French and one quarter English, you see. My mother's side was English, but my father's side was Italian and French. I rather like the exoticness of it all," he said. His name did sound a bit fancier than Smith or Jones, it was true. He saw that Katie was interested in some of the items he had inside the room. "Feel free to have a look at some of this stuff," he invited. "I don't mind and that's kind of why I have it here, anyway, so the students can enjoy it." Antonio had never minded the students handling his toys and such, it showed they were interested in these things and that was good.

"That's good, Ruby, I'm glad to hear that," Antonio smiled softly. He knew that Sakura had taken Jack's death really hard, just as hard as Ruby had taken John's, and had taken it in a different kind of way. He understood that some people needed more time to recover from a terrible loss like that, and that everyone was different. "Well, I am glad to see you back at Hogwarts, I really am," he said sincerely. "And Bethany and Antonia are both fine. It is so amazing to have them back with me. There was a time I thought I would never see either of them again, and it wasn't that long ago." Antonio realized when he saw his wife and child, he would always have the happy memories of John and Jack as well as the sad.



"Well, that's what we'll be doing mostly in our classes," Antonio said. "I can't really explain it, but if you come to class I think it will be a little clearer for you. I hope so, anyway. I have the first class starting in just a few days."



"Well, I'm glad to meet you, too, Natasha," Antonio said. "It's always a pleasure to meet eager new students. Class will be starting in just a few days, and this term I already have some ideas for learning about different muggle cultures and pastimes, including some things we touched on last term but didn't really dwell on that much because my lessons were so general last year. One of the main things I want to focus on this term is muggle music."



"I'm always happy to be of service," Antonio smiled. "And I hope you find that book useful. You'll probably want to read it carefully and take notes on the things you find particularly important. Do that and I think you'll be fine, and it should answer all your questions. But you can always come to me about anything."



"Yes, that's true, and one day we will all be together with our loved ones, that's a very good point," Antonio agreed. "And like I said, all of us are able to go on after a loss of a loved one, well, nearly all of us, anyway." Antonio smiled. "We all find ways to cope in time."
