Background: grew up in a magical family. His mother is muggleborn and writes books on Magical Creatures. His pureblood father works in the Ministry of Magic in the Dept. of Magical Creatures. His mother and father want Roland to go into the Ministry when he leaves Hogwarts but Roland has more adventurous plans. His family are so diverse in their aims and opinions that there is no such thing as a black sheep of the family any more. He owns a pet Augurey named Jarvis.
Personality: Roland is always on the lookout for the new and strange and often finds it. He is enthusiastic towards most new people and things yet he has his bad points as anyone does. He laughs when Gryffindors and other houses lose points or are mildly mistreated. He has never been overly brave but when it comes to the extreme necessity he will be behind his friends. He is bookish and likes to think outside of the box. His favorite lesson is Defence Against the Dark Arts followed closely by Transfiguration. He hates Divination and regrets taking it. He wants to travel across Europe when he leaves Hogwarts and carry on travelling not just for a year. He wants to go on adventures and helping people out from things that shouldn't be happening there just like his uncle Richard used to do.
