"oh... um, I was just thinking about the Common room and stuff, and the stuff in my trunk. I don't mind about my dress that much, it was only from Primark so my mum can always get me another one, but it was the thought of this doll that my Grandma made me when she was in St Mungo's - just before she died. It's going to be ruined!" she lied - well half lied. She did have that doll in her trunk and she was upset about that, but it wasn't why she got watery eyed, and she wasn't planning on telling Aaron that it was the thought of his letters being nothing but soggy, stained parchment that made her upset - that would just be daft... and he would think she was weird for getting so worked up about a few letters.

She sighed... gah! why is it taking so long to get us a bloody temporary common room! they've got a new barn for the owls because they've relocated the dungeons.

"I doubt someone would try to mess with Hogwarts. Some of the greatest wizards in the world are here." Aaron was trying to stay positive. But it was getting hard. He was very tired and there was nowhere for him to sleep.

"There's probably something in the water fromt he lake that makes it hard to do spells on, but I'm sure it will all be dry soon." Boy, he hoped so.
