"Erm, ok," Jack muttered, watching with horror as she grabbed his hand and dragged him over to the Nifflers. The one that she picked out was actually kind of cute--he was fluffier than most of them, he seemed, and desperate to get searching, apparently.

"Are we supposed to like--cheer it on or something?" he asked. "Come on Niffler! Come on! You can do it! Find us something!" he said, pumping his fist in the air and everything in an effort to psych up their little furball.

The niffler stared at him for a moment before finally setting off, nose close to the ground as it searched for something pretty and shiny and sparkly. Finally, it stopped and started digging in a small patch of grass nearby, going further and further into the dirt before it finally emerged with a tiny butterbeer cap. It scurried over to Reese and dropped in her lap before looking up at her, obviously expecting praise of some sort for his find.
