Evangeline understood that Anna was the Head Girl and it was her duty to help the staff at a time like this, but did she have to see the Gryffindor's face all the time? If Evangeline had to handle with the girl once more, she was gonna go to the Gryffindor table and beg them to take Anna back. Honestly.
Warily, Evangeline eyed the potion vial the Gryffindor was handling her with a mist of hesitation and .. thankfulness. No matter what, Evangeline could appreciate kindness, even if it came from Anna. What she couldnt appreciate, though, was to be poisoned and die. Hmmm. That was why she was so grateful when Miss Caroline handed her another vial. "Oh, I'll take the nurse's, thank you. Why dont you save yours other students who might need them?"
Phial of potion still held out towards Evangeline, Anna waited patiently while the Slytherin girl seemed to contemplate what she wanted to do. It was sort of discouraging to have someone dislike her this much, but Anna could handle it. She could keep her head held high despite Evangeline's...and Clifford's...disliking to her. Anna could tell the girl wasn't going to take the phial of potion, though. She was eyeing it as if Anna were handing her some sort of terrible, man-eating creature of some kind. Yes, discouraging indeed. Couldn't differences be put aside at a time like this.
Apparently not, though, as Evangeline had just declined her offer. Sighing, Anna placed the phial back on the tray. She wasn't going to argue with Evangeline. So as long as she actually took the potion before a nasty head cold set in, Anna would just let her be. "Alright then, but these phials
are actually the healer's. She gave this tray to me when I came in from the flood. Either way, though, I hope you get to feeling better." Seeing as her work there was done, Anna turned and headed back to the two girls who'd fainted. One had come to, but Vannie had seen to her, so all seemed good for now.
