Grace felt like she was really dirty, although she didn't touch water that much thanks to Clifford's spell which had done its job well. But she was extremely sleepy. And bored. She wondered when they'd be able to go their Common Room. She thought of her belongings, surely a professor'd dry them off? She put her head on the table again. "Hi Grace, you ok?" Iris asked upon noticing the fellow student.
"I'm so annoyed. I thought the school was magical... it shouldn't have flooded, and I've lost everything." Iris began to get watery eyed, and she wasn't sure why, but then she remembered exactly what was in the inside pocket of her trunk, a photo of her and her mum, dad and brother; the letter that her mum had given her wishing her luck at the train station; and the letters from Aaron that they had exchanged over the summer - he was her first true friend, it was only normal to want to keep the letters near, right?
