Melanie restlessly kicked the leg of her desk at the mention of, Dunn duuun dunnnnn, partners. Everyone seemed to be pairing off and the second year was nervous she'd be the only one left. And that might be an ency weensy bit embarrassing.

Melanie glanced around, hoping someone would ask her and she wouldn't need to go ask anyone. Cause' that would be scary...Yep.

"Annnnyone need a partner?" she asked, looking around hopefully at the other students for anyone, anyone at all. Ugh, knowing her luck she'd be the only one without a partner in the end or something awful like that.
