Cari couldn't even count the things that made no sense about what she had just heard. The only thing that made any sense at all was the part about potion interactions, but she hadn't met Professor Kazimeriz before that summer, Ethan was NOT her beau. How ridiculous. She certainly didn't study potions under Professor Slughorn, she had taken them under Professor Airlia and Professor Branxton, and she hadn't taken them at the same time as Professor Kazimeriz, that would have been well a long bloody time ago.
And go back from where she came from? Have her memory erased? Quit?
I don't THINK so!
