"Th-thank you, Professor," the seventh year ducked his head slightly in appreciation. Kazimeriz.. THE Kazimeriz had told him 'excellent job.' Whoa. As for the tea? "And it'd be an honour to join you for tea, Sir." An honour, sure? That didn't mean he wouldn't be completely and uttery TERRIFIED though. With a polite nod, Clifford moved back to the table to assist and give up pepper-up potions to those in need.
He'd have to tell Miss Caroline that Kazimeriz hadn't taken his dose too. EEK.
An honour, sir. Now that is how a young gentleman should behave. He nodded back politely to Carden, pleased. Kazimeriz watched Carden work, and a plan began to formulate in the old man's mind.

SO DON'T IGNORE CLIFFORD when he gives you a Pepperup Potion! Here!" She shoved another phial in Kazimeriz face. "If you don't take it, Mr Masterson can relate to you the consequenses."
She stalked away, barefoot to see to other students.
"I AM doing my job. And I'm doing it more or less alone! Because Wherever the Headmaster is, Nurse Byron seems to be there too!" she added loudly and huffily, not looking up from retrieving her bag. "And it's MISS, Avalon! I never married!"
And she didn't intend to. One runaway bride incident was enough, thank you.
Aaaand once more, enter stage right: the Untamable Shrew. He tried to maintain a cool and professional expression, trying not to betray his true emotions.
"Tut, tut, Miss Avalon. You would do well to return to healing school, for it appears you were absent the day they taught bedside manners. " He took the phial from her and slipped it into his pocket.
"I shall take it when it is appropriate to take. Thank you ever so much, dear lady." His voice dripped with insincerity at this last, as though he considered her to be anything BUT a lady at the moment. After the way she had been hanging onto that cad, indeed, how could he be expected to think of her as any such thing?
No, Kazimeriz wasn't upset by this latest alliance between his nemesis and his friend from over half a century ago.
Not. one. bit.
