Bird. OH! The dude had a bird. So of course he wanted some bird food to feed his bird. That explained one thing. But then again maybe he had already said that. Hmm.

Sam then eyed the man in front of her as he began looking at her. He almost had a confused look on his face. Well of course he was confused! She hadn't been to his class yet. What did he teach though? He didn't seem like a Charms professor...Definitely not the Divination professor, she had seen Kapoor during breakfast...Looked too harmless to be the DADA professor. So what did he teach? He had a bird though.

That's it! He was the new Care Of Magical Creatures professor! She didn't know the old one had left but oh well. Mister...Professor Dude liked animals because he had a pet bird. Who would have a pet if they didn't like animals? Definitely the Care Of Magical Creatures professor. Sam was proud of her quick mind.

"Sammy Edwards, Gryffindor Seventh Year." She replied. He asked for her name. Would it be rude to ask for his? Yes. Or maybe not...Forget it. She was just going to call him Professor Dude.

"I usually sit in the back Professor Dude. I really enjoyed your lesson though. Very informative." She said with a slight smile. There. That was a good lie. She was a good liar right? Snaps! This was getting difficult. Subject change. Need a subject change.

And Professor Dude provided it for her. "Yeah, a tweeting bird is not something you would want in your office. I think we can find some seeds in the Greenhouses." she suggested. Ew. She might have to see Professor Pink. Well, she said she would help him. She was going to help him.
