Steven looked over at Clifford and saw the nurse standing with him. "Miss Avalon?" He called out, walking over to the pair. "Can you check Jude over?" He asked, using his name since the younger boy had supplied it on the way to the Great Hall. "He almost drowned in the common room."

He whispered incredibly softly into her ear, so that no-one would hear him say it. He didn't want anyone to pick on his new friend. No-one.
