Reaching the girl, Beezley bowed once, then said, "Oh, Missus, Beezley is sorry, but she must ask why Misses needs a whole bag of flour. Algamus would not like Beezley giving away a whole bag," she said. She walked a bit closer and then leaned in slightly. "Is Missus up to no good?"
"Oh no Beezley. I'm not up to no good." It was true. "I promise. Maybe you could let me have half a bag? See, I'd eat that much worth of cookies anyway so it's like the same as giving me a fresh batch of cookies except I'd be more thankful! Pleeeeaase Beezley?" Celandine's eyes widened and she pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaded with the little elf.
She looked up at Anna when she came in and decided she wouldn't be an idiot and go down to see the flooding, for one thing... there might be grindylows. Shudder.
After sorting out the flour, she figured she might go up to see if she could help somewhere else though, at least to make sure all her housemates were present and accounted for.
