I don't know what happened after we left..." Laura hung her head. She felt a bit ashamed that she had left without helping, but what could she have done?

Looking down, Laura noticed a puddle of water forming around her socks. Socks?? Then she remembered that she has tied her shoes around her neck to enable her to swim. Laura pulled them off her neck and put then back on. Little had Laura noticed that Rachel was the second person to have called her Lauren, her and Cy, the Hufflepuff boy who had been acting like almost drowning in the dungeons was an everyday thing for him. The thought almost made her smile...

Rachel listened as the girl talked, her face that of complete shock. "Flood?! In the dungeons?! Myrtle?" she repeated, her mouth hanging open as she tried to process the information. Right, right - flood, dungeons, Anna and Clifford... Ok.

"You mean there are more people down there? Wait - what about the Slytherins? And the potions lab, and- oh no, Professor Kazimeriz is down there!" Rachel listed, already straightening up to go see for herself and perhaps lend a hand. About to take off, she stopped and looked back at the young girl, pity welling up inside her as she saw her shaking. Ok fine - I'll help her then I'll go and assist the others... Hope it's not too late!

Lifting her wand, she focused her mind on the spell she had learned from one of the advanced Charms books she had borrowed from the library and waved her wand over the girl in a complicated motion. She eyed her with baited breath and sighed with relief as she saw the girl's clothes dry up in a matter of seconds. "Go to the hospital wing if you're feeling a little down - if not, make your way to the common room and get some sleep. Don't worry about not sticking around - you did what was right and saved yourself," Rachel told Laura kindly then turned and sprinted off towards the dungeons, racking her brain for a spell that could keep her dry.
