She didn't want to do this. But then drowning is not a fate she'd wish on someone else. It's positively terrifying. Cari was positively terrified.
This isn't happening. This isn't happening. This is a boggart. A very clever little boggart telling me my worst fear is in the dungeon... Okay, that doesn't make sense at all.
There were several good reasons for her to run away as fast as she could.
And one good one for getting shakily to her feet and saying, "The dungeons then? Okay, I - I can do that? Ethan, are you coming?"
Please please PLEASE come with me because if I freak out... well, yeah...
Because she was pretty sure she'd never go if she didn't make up her mind to do it, Caroline marched purposefully out the kitchen doors. Her face screwed up like she was headed for the gallows.
Anna's face morphed into a look that fell somewhere in between horror and concern. She dashed over to the Healer, concerned over how her news had startled the woman so. Anna knew the news was devestating, and the poor healer was surely taking it hard. Then again, so was everyone. "Oh, Healer Avalon, I know this is such disturbing new, yes?" Anna said, placing the palm of her hand on the woman's back. "Yes, flooding. I've managed to get a lot of the students out, and I even swam one to safety, so things are coming along quite nicely as far as the evacuation is concerned. Professor Kazimeriz is down there helping as well. I just need some assistance swimming into and out of the detention halls."
Anna turned and looked towards Professor Truebridge when he was asked to come along, as well. Two staff members would definitely be better than just one. When the healer stood up to head down to the dungeons, Anna turned and followed her right on out the door.
