Then he caught a whiff of some foul smell, "Do you smell that?" he said not only to Celandine, but the teachers and other students in the kitchen, "It smells like damp. You'd think the dungeons were flooding or something."

Rounding the corner, Anna ran into the kitchen...walking just wouldn't do at the moment. Ohh, oh, oh! Two at once!

"Healer Avalon! Professor Truebridge! You must come quickly! The dungeon level is flooding! It's waist deep now, and there are several students in grave danger! Professor Kazimeriz has instructed me to get the students out of the detention halls, but I can't seem to get in. None of the spells I've tried have worked!" she said, barely breathing as she spoke a million miles a minute.
Just as Cari was about to tell the little boy not to make jokes about things like that, the Head Girl burst into the Kitchen.

Caroline had to sit down.

"Flooding?" she squeaked.

Ooooh Noooo!

She didn't want to do this. But then drowning is not a fate she'd wish on someone else. It's positively terrifying. Cari was positively terrified.

This isn't happening. This isn't happening. This is a boggart. A very clever little boggart telling me my worst fear is in the dungeon... Okay, that doesn't make sense at all.

There were several good reasons for her to run away as fast as she could.

And one good one for getting shakily to her feet and saying, "The dungeons then? Okay, I - I can do that? Ethan, are you coming?"

Please please PLEASE come with me because if I freak out... well, yeah...

Because she was pretty sure she'd never go if she didn't make up her mind to do it, Caroline marched purposefully out the kitchen doors. Her face screwed up like she was headed for the gallows.
