Reaching the girl, Beezley bowed once, then said, "Oh, Missus, Beezley is sorry, but she must ask why Misses needs a whole bag of flour. Algamus would not like Beezley giving away a whole bag," she said. She walked a bit closer and then leaned in slightly. "Is Missus up to no good?"
Varius turned to the little elf, they were oh so cute, really. "Hey little guy, it's not really for her, it's for me. You see I need to cover myself in flour... it may not even take up a whole bag... just enough to make me look white... I need to tell someone... something, and I feel they would appreciate it more and be more comfortable if I was well.... all white."
Then he caught a whiff of some foul smell, "Do you smell that?" he said not only to Celandine, but the teachers and other students in the kitchen, "It smells like damp. You'd think the dungeons were flooding or something."
